Filters and distributes clean filtered water from the surface to deeper in the pond for better plant and animal health. Also, lift suspended debris and pulls it into the skimmer.
Aerates water as it filters and then deposits aerated water deeper into the pond, which keeps the entire water column aerated. Many ponds do not have good healthy air near the bottom, which is essential for good pond health.
The filter media chamber measures approximately 4 inches in diameter and has a depth of 8.5 inches. It offers versatility in accepting various filter media, including filter pads, sponges, bio-balls, carbon, and all-in-one filter media solutions. For effective removal of very fine debris, finer media like 100-micron filter pads can be utilized. Additionally, the chamber can accommodate 4-inch filter socks with micron ratings ranging from 50 to 1,000, further enhancing its filtering capabilities.
Stand Base: with rim 4.5-inch diameter, without rim 4.35-inch diameter. The stand can be used with rim, filled with pebbles. The stand rim can be removed to allow heavier rock to hold it in place. The stand can also be placed in hydroponic pot and filled with small rocks.
The system requires a minimum operating water depth ranging from 20.6 to 23.5 inches, with the depth not allowed to go below 20.6 inches. Additionally, it comes with a two-year warranty.
